CEKOM (Competence Centre) for cybernetic security of control systems was founded with the aim of improving the competitiveness of the Croatian economy by implementing activities in business sector research, development and innovation, through cooperation with scientific research institutions in the field of cybernetic security of control systems. The fundamental purpose of CEKOM for cybernetic security of control systems is to meet industry requirements for efficient solutions and to raise business sector capacities with the final goal of commercialising developed solutions for the cybernetic security of control systems. This will have a direct positive effect on the security of critical national infrastructure.

Our partners come both from industry (CS Computer Systems d.o.o., Končar KET d.d. and HOPS d.o.o.) and the academic community (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, and CERT) to ensure a comprehensive approach to research and development, and to cover the issue of control system security from all points of view.

The project entitled Competence Centre of Cybernetic Security of Control Systems is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union. The project’s total acceptable cost is HRK 25,586,937.08, with the ERDF covering HRK 17,506,537.44. The project implementation period is from 1 July 2020 to 1 July 2023.
